Introduction

These terms of use (hereinafter referred to as "the Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("the User") and Bikeloop. By using the bike parking and the associated mobile applications ("the App"), you accept these Terms and commit to comply with them.

The Terms may be updated from time to time without specific notice. The current version is available here.

Use of bike parking and app

The bike parking and the App are developed to provide a safe and secure storage solution for users who need to park bikes in public spaces.

Bikeloop offers several different parking solutions. The solutions are tailored for storing different types of bikes. In the App, you will find an overview of which types of bikes are supported by each parking solution.

All solutions are equipped with hooks or shelves for hanging helmets and bike bags. It is not allowed to store anything on the floor other than the bike itself. All other items should be hung on hooks or placed on shelves. It is not permitted to store any items other than bikes and associated equipment. Flammable materials, chemicals, or other items that could pose a health risk to humans or animals are therefore strictly prohibited.

As a user, you are obliged to exercise caution when parking and retrieving your bike. Bikeloop AS is not responsible for damage or loss resulting from misuse or vandalism.

In case of violations of the guidelines described here, you may be held financially responsible for damage or loss of equipment and towards third parties.

You acknowledge that errors may occur. Bikeloop will correct errors as soon as possible and within a reasonable time. Bikeloop normally does not compensate users for the time spent.

Privacy

We understand the importance of privacy and are committed to protecting your user data. Personal data is processed in accordance with Norwegian privacy legislation and GDPR. We only collect, use, and store information that is necessary to provide the service.

Age limit and user responsibility

The age limit for using the service is 15 years.

As a user of the bike parking and the App, you are responsible for complying with these Terms as well as applicable laws and regulations. The service may not be used in an illegal, offensive, or harmful manner towards other users or third parties. You are also responsible for ensuring that the bike is in safe condition and suitable for storage in the bike parking solution.

You are responsible for completing ongoing parking or retrieval of the bike, and you must always follow the instructions provided in the App.

It is strictly prohibited to remain inside the bike box unnecessarily. You are responsible for ensuring that no other persons are in the parking area during parking or retrieval of the bike. You are also responsible for ensuring that no pets enter the parking area.

One account per user

Each user may only create one account. The account is personal and cannot be used by others. You are responsible for keeping the account and the App secure. In case of loss of mobile phone or suspicion of misuse, Bikeloop AS should be contacted immediately. Bikeloop AS is not responsible for loss or inconvenience resulting from misuse of the account.

Payment

Use of the bike parking and the App is subject to payment. The prices are clearly stated in the App, and you will be charged according to the applicable prices and terms. We reserve the right to change prices and terms but will notify you of changes before they take effect.

Limitation of liability and reservations

We believe we have developed one of the safest bike parking solutions on the market. Although we do our best to ensure that the service works as intended, we cannot guarantee that the bike is 100% safe at all times. Bikeloop cannot be held liable for loss or damage to bikes or other equipment resulting from the use of the service. We are also not responsible for damage or loss resulting from unauthorized access to the App or the bike parking solution.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend the service at any time and for any reason, without prior notice. You may choose to discontinue use of the service at any time. Any outstanding payments are due in accordance with these Terms.
