Sunshine and great interest in secure bicycle parking at Fornebu S

On Saturday, April 26th, we participated in Bikeloop at Barnas Vårfest at Fornebu S, a day filled with sunshine, cycling activities, and good meetings with people living and biking in the area. We had the opportunity to showcase our safe and smart bike parking and had good dialogues with both young and adult cyclists.

– It was a nice day to meet the residents of Fornebu and show how Bikeloop's safe and smart bike parking works in everyday life, says Mona Elisabeth Gladhus, head of marketing and projects at Bikeloop.

One of the day's highlights was the bike maze, where children got to try their own bikes and were rewarded for their efforts – a popular activity for the youngest. At the same time, there was a lot of activity among the adults at the Wintersteiger stand, which offered free bike washing. The line stayed long throughout the day, and many took the opportunity to chat with us at Bikeloop while waiting. It was a great opportunity to show how the bike parking works in practice.

Several stopped by to test out the bike parking, and many downloaded the app and registered as users right then and there. At Fornebu S, we offer two single rooms for regular bikes and a larger room that is perfect for family parking, cargo bikes, or bike trailers.
